Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for construction to optimise costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking and evaluating potential new suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favourable agreements.
- Cost Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives through effective negotiation, value engineering, and process optimisation. Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that all stamping parts meet or exceed established quality standards. Address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and logistics, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure a stable and reliable source of CAPEX projects
Requirements
- C2 German is a must
- Bachelors or Masters degree is a must
- 5 years of experience in construction/building materials and all related industries ie renewable energy
- Excellent negotiator and track record in sourcing new suppliers and building relationships with existing suppliers
