This is a newly created role for a food and beverage manufacturing company. In this position, you will direct and manage the shipping and receiving of the product while working cross functionally with others on the team. This is a position that is meant for growth at a very rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees on handling products safely and maintaining warehouses
- Oversee the daily receiving and storing of the product
- Communicate with Domestic and International Logistics to resolve any issues
- Manage the receiving department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner
- Tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-years experience in Shipping & Receiving
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Valid and current forklift certification
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in the Food and Beverage industry preferred
