Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Supply Chain Director to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the supply chain operations for our company in 2 sites: the United Kingdom and Nijmegen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in logistics, procurement, and distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support the company's business objectives
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the supply chain in both the United Kingdom and Nijmegen
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance to ensure the smooth operation of the business
- Implement best practices in logistics, procurement, and distribution to optimize supply chain operations
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a track record of success in managing complex supply chains
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing teams across multiple locations
- Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business objectives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in logistics, procurement, and distribution
- Ability to travel to the United Kingdom and Nijmegen as required (50% of the time)
