Senior Sourcing Specialist - Professional Services

Company Profile: This major retailer is looking for a Senior Sourcing Analyst. This person will be responsible for assisting in defining and implementing procurement strategies for the Corporate Professional Services category which include HR, Finance, Legal, IT, marketing, etc. This opportunity is a permanent, new role with a company that has witnessed incredible growth over the past few years and needs additional support on the Procurement team.
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the Request For (RFI/RFP/RFQ) process
- Work closely with business leaders and assist the Category Sourcing Manager to develop a comprehensive strategic procurement
- Lead fact-based supplier negotiations and progressive supplier relationship management activities
- Work collaboratively to facilitate the contract review and negotiation process
- Develop and execute strategy that necessitates a strong collaboration between business leaders and clear communication with suppliers
The Senior Sourcing Specialist should have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related Business Field
- Five to seven years of experience - Data analytics
- CPM/CPSM (Preferred)
- Advanced sourcing and procurement knowledge
- Knowledge of legal contract terminology and general financial skills
