We are seeking an experienced PLC Engineer to join a multinational manufacturing group. As a PLC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining programmable logic control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automatic system implementation and manufacturing integration, preferably in the moulding and tooling related fields. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective automation solutions that enhance our production capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement programmable logic control systems for manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop automation solutions that optimize production efficiency.
Program and configure PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, and other control devices.
Troubleshoot and debug PLC-based systems to maintain optimal operation and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to identify and resolve issues related to automation systems.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in automation systems.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Document system designs, configurations, and changes for future reference.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
5-12 years of hands-on experience in automatic system implementation and manufacturing integration, preferably in molding and tooling related fields.
Strong proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs, such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
In-depth knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems and their integration with PLCs.
Experience with industrial networks and protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).
Familiarity with robotics and motion control systems is a plus.
Solid understanding of electrical circuits, motor controls, and industrial sensors.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and ladder logic diagrams.
Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging PLC-based systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to relocate or travel frequently for project commissioning or support.
