As a Senior business development manager the primary objective is to lead the initiative of securing substantial logistics opportunities that generate significant revenue for the logistics division, and to facilitate the conversion of these opportunities into new business. These opportunities are classified as "large scale," amounting to โฌ 3 million or more in revenue annually.
The ideal candidate is expected to generate opportunity values surpassing โฌ 40 million per year
We are seeking a candidate who meets the following requirements:
- Master's degree in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics management
- At least 10 years of practical experience
- Possession of their own network of potential customers without breaching any non-compete clauses
- Following up throughout the RFQ process until implementation
- Available to travel
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opportunity generation, RFQ response and implementation/running business
- Connect with procurement teams of customers with large scale contract logistics requirement
- Lead face to face sessions with the customer - potentially with other members of the Logistics Division
- Guide the response team (solution design managers and logistics engineers) through the RFQ packs and identify key decision criteria
- Involve with implementation plan in order to accurately understand the progress
