We're currently seeking a Quality Manager responsible for maintaining high product quality standards to meet customer expectations. This role involves ensuring that established practices align with quality management system standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop quality procedures based on customer specifications and process requirements.
- Create and manage sampling plans using recognized statistical methods.
- Develop measurable quality improvement plans.
- Lead internal audits to ensure readiness for external audits.
- Collaborate with the Quality Director to implement and maintain the Quality Management System.
- Generate reports and recommendations through data analysis.
- Monitor, test, and inspect products to uphold specified standards.
- Review customer and engineering drawings for key characteristics.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficient in interpreting technical documents.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Occasional travel may be required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in aerospace and defense industries.
- Experience with ISO quality management certifications, particularly AS9100 and NADCAP.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearance, if applicable.
- Must meet U.S. person criteria.
