Position Overview:
As a Procurement Business Partner - IT, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute IT procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in indirect procurement and prior experience in IT consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute IT procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for optimal results.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams to understand IT requirements and provide expert procurement guidance.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating procurement risks.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance procurement processes for greater efficiency.
- Reporting: Generate KPIs to monitor and communicate procurement outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT procurement experience with a focus on indirect procurement.
- Previous experience in IT consultancy is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Fluency in German
