Title: Process Engineering Manager
Location: Somerset County, New Jersey (Hybrid)
Summary: A Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing company seeking a proven leader to oversee their Process Engineering Team in New Jersey. As Process Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing direct reports by actively managing employee development plans.
The Process Engineering Manager will:
- Lead, manage, develop, and mentor 5-10 Process Engineers who are responsible for individual product/projects.
- Manage the process scope development of Pre-FEED and FEED package development.
- Collaborate with managerial and leadership colleagues concerning the status of the Process Engineering work on projects.
- Draft, develop, edit, and approve plant Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
- Develop and approve detailed equipment design calculations and specifications for process equipment.
The Process Engineering Manager should have the following requirements:
- Bachelors, Master's, or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years of process engineering experience
- 5+ years of leadership/managerial experience
- Specific knowledge and experience relative to designing equipment
- Comprehensive background in HAZOP
