Our client is seeking an experienced process engineer to join their team at the leading recycled paper and pulp manufacturing facility located in Rockingham, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes utilizing lean techniques while aiding product development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
As the process engineer with our prestigious partner company based out of Rockingham, your primary responsibilities would include:
- Improving manufacturing processes using lean methodologies
- Aiding Product Development initiatives
- Reducing waste through optimized production workflows
-Qualification Requirements-
- Bachelor's Degree in paper science, chemical, electrical engineering or related field.
- Relevant industry exposure/experience required; work history within pulp/paper or packaging manufacturing preferred.
-Skill Set Preferred -
- Controls/automation experience - such as leading DCS migration projects, PLC troubleshooting and HMI design work
- Strong analytical mindset complimented by problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal forms essential when dealing with cross-functional teams on daily basis.
- Creative thinking ability paired together sound technical aptitude necessary to innovate new solutions tailored towards continuous improvement goals
