Having been in the space for over 100 years, this food manufacturing company is well-established. They are continuing to expand and currently looking for a Lean expert to help grow the team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve business processes
- Facilitate the implementation of Lean principles to help drive process improvements across the organization
- Organize Value Stream Analysis events to gain insights into processes
- Develop actionable strategies for improvement throughout the organization
- Plan/lead Kaizen events to drive swift improvements in specific processes
- Maintain documentation of Lean initiatives
- Champion cultural change, helping influence leaders and foster a mindset of CI, teamwork and Lean thinking (across all levels)
- Participate in special projects and fulfill additional duties as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing
- General manufacturing industry experience
- Proven track record of continuous improvement and results orientation achieved through the development and growth of others
- Experience with documenting CI projects
- Knowledge of Kaizen facilitation
