As the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our food products. This position requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in food safety and quality management, regulatory compliance, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
- Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality food products.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
Food Safety Compliance:
- Oversee and enforce compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plans and ensure their effective implementation.
- Stay informed about changes in food safety regulations and industry best practices.
Auditing and Documentation:
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality assurance processes, inspections, and audits.
Training and Development:
- Provide training to staff on food safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for training and skill development.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and safety of incoming raw materials.
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers, conducting audits as necessary.
- Develop and implement procedures for handling food safety incidents and product recalls.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, with at least [Y] years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
