Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Frederick, MD
Company Summary: Nationally dominating asphalt roofing manufacturing company that has been in operation for 80 years. They are looking to bring a results driven, innovative individual to prioritize conflict resolution and continually improve production lines.
Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be able to
- Take an analytic approach to working on the production line doing troubleshooting for PLC/HMI programs and instrumentation
- Identify where quantifiable improvements should be made / will have the most impact
- Develop electrical and controls layouts using CAD or various electrical drawing software
- Operate cross-functionally with Engineers, Operations and Maintenance personnel
Qualifications: The candidate must have
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in relevant field of study
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Extensive knowledge in PLC code development, NEC, HMI programming and Auto CAD
- Design experience
