Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification within relevant field
Experience required:
At least 5 years work experience as an electrical engineer specifically focused on designing automated process lines.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in PLC (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI
Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
* Develops control strategies using PLC programming software such as Allen Bradley RSLogix5000/Studio5000 platform;
* Designs HMI screens according to customer specifications using Ignition or Wonderware InTouch SCADA platforms;
* Conduct hardware selection including sensors transmitters valves actuators etc.;
* Collaborates closely with other members of project teams during design implementation testing commissioning phases until delivery handover ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently effectively ;
* Provides technical input into proposals tenders quotations bids which may involve conducting site visits preparing costing schedules diagrams flow charts writing reports reviewing documentation provided by clients suppliers subcontractors ;
