Our client is seeking a Global Sourcing Category Manager that will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of essential supplies and equipment. Your responsibilities will involve strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization.

Responsbilities:
- Develop strategies and identify key suppliers that align with company needs
- Implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to achieve cost reductions and growth
- Manage and develop supplier relationships
- Contracting: negotiate, implement, and ensure compliance with agreements (RFQs, RFPs)
- Analyze data to determine new opportunities
- Work cross-functionally to develop solutions
Requirements:
- Must have experience sourcing for metal components
- 5+ years of sourcing and contracting experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work cross functionally
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, manufacturing, or related field
