Our client, a leading company in the mining sector, is currently seeking a CAPEX Buyer to join their team in London. As a CAPEX Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for capital expenditure projects, ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for capital expenditure projects
- Ensure all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities to management
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in CAPEX procurement
- Knowledge of the mining sector
- Familiarity with Ghent software
- Experience working with DSJ Global
- Strong procurement skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Knowledge of other procurement software
- Experience working with international suppliers
