The Production Planner will work closely with the Purchasing Team and suppliers to meet company deadlines, drive cost savings, and ensure inventory accuracy. They must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate proactively. They will effectively use Infor ERP/MRP and other tools to plan, create, and revise production schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Management Team to manage the supply chain for various customer programs.
- Oversee open Purchase Orders - confirm POs with suppliers, expedite material shortages, and maintain PO date accuracy to balance inventory levels.
- Handle MRO Purchase Orders, including consigned material cabinet.
- Review and take action on non-conforming non-receivable materials.
- Create, manage, and maintain debit memos, working closely with the Finance Team to ensure accuracy.
- Construct and implement Production Work Order (WO) schedules based on customer needs, material availability, and internal resource capacity (labor and equipment).
- Use Infor ERP/MRP and other tools to plan, create, revise, and maintain the Master Production Schedule.
- Coordinate and communicate all Production Schedule information between various company departments and functions such as Program Management, Materials/Purchasing, Stockroom, Manufacturing, Test, QA, and Engineering.
- Undertake special projects as required.
Requirements:

- Previous supply chain experience
