Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales areas and expand customer base within the aerospace industry, specialising in intralogistics solutions.
- Plan and monitor business development strategies to capitalise on market opportunities and achieve growth objectives.
- Create comprehensive business plans and conduct in-depth market analyses to drive informed decision-making.
- Document and nurture existing customer and partner relationships, while also spearheading the exploration of new sales markets.
- Design and deliver industry-specific presentations tailored to meet the needs of aerospace clients, showcasing innovative intralogistics solutions.
- Directly report to the Head of Business Development (DACH), providing regular updates on sales initiatives and market insights.
Qualifications and skill:
- Possesses proven professional experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or in key account management, ideally within the (contract) logistics sector, with a focus on aerospace and industrial environment being advantageous.
- Holds a completed business degree or commercial vocational training with relevant further education, demonstrating a strong understanding of logistics principles.
- Exhibits perseverance, exceptional communication skills, and negotiation prowess to foster strong client relationships and secure new business opportunities.
- Demonstrates analytical acumen to conduct market analyses, generate insightful reports, and develop compelling presentations for clients.
- Is proficient in Salesforce and typical MS Office programs, leveraging technology to enhance sales strategies and processes.
- Displays a personable, customer-oriented approach to work, maintaining a professional demeanour while delivering exceptional service.
- Is fluent in German and English; French language skills are additionally desirable for engaging with international clients.
