VP Supply Chain

A Global leader in Food and Beverage Manufacturing company is currently in search of a Vice President of Supply Chain to join their team that is rapidly growing in the United States. You will play a key role in aiding the company's growth and leading a team to implement new and innovative strategies. You will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting a team by providing necessary training's and delegating tasks. You will be expected to lead by example with a hands-on approach to the day-to-day responsibilities, modeling the work ethic it takes to succeed.
Key responsibilities of the VP Supply Chain include:
- Lead/Manage all facility Supply Chain activities.
- Monitor KPIs to provide comprehensive reports, analytics and visibility around the end-to-end supply chain functions and processes.
- Set standards and drive performance for team, mentoring and modeling tasks for Supply Chain Analysts as needed.
- Be accountable and responsible for the overall strategy and relationship building with 3PLs and vendors, at times requiring international travel.
Key requirements of the VP Supply Chain include:
- Have 7+ years of related, professional experience like:
- contract manufacturing, third-party warehousing/3PL, importing from overseas, multi-location inventory load balancing, forecasting, logistics or customs.
- Have a hands-on, "in the trenches" style work ethic, high level of energy, and contagious enthusiasm.
- Minimum of an accredited college degree in some related area.
- Experience in Lean, or Six Sigma.
