Job Title: Head of Site Supply Chain & Logistics

Our client, a leading player in the Industrial Manufacturing sector, is seeking a Head of Site Supply Chain & Logistics to join their team in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the supply chain and logistics function for the site, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain and logistics strategies that align with the overall business objectives
- Manage and lead a team of supply chain and logistics professionals, providing guidance and support as required
- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Monitor and analyse supply chain and logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Develop and manage budgets for the supply chain and logistics function, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation
Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in supply chain and logistics management, with a proven track record of success
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Desirable Skills:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience in the Industrial Manufacturing sector
- Experience in international supply chain and logistics management
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
