Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for the transport category, focusing on cost optimization, quality, and sustainability.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand transportation requirements and provide procurement expertise.
- Analyse market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive continuous improvement in the transport procurement process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- Lead cross-functional teams and projects to support business objectives and drive innovation in transport procurement.
Qualification:
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of transport procurement best practices and market trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in SAP or other procurement software is a plus.
