We are working with a Global America pharmaceutical going through a Capex Procurement transformation to support their global expansion. They are looking for experience Capex procurement to support on several greenfield projects over the next 5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the relationship with suppliers to deliver reliable product & services supply
- QA/Regulatory compliance Implement purchasing best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
- Contributes to managing and optimise third party supplier spend of the Manufacturing represent.
- Identify areas of improvement and launch related initiatives while liaising with Global Category Managers to identify key projects
- Drive Sourcing teams to select suppliers through the launch of RFI and RFQ that match requirements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather feed-back on supplier performance and identify areas of improvement
Skills and Experience required:
- University degree and/or master in Engineering or Purchasing
- Minimum 5 years in managing purchasing activities, including both direct and indirect spend
- English and German mandatory
- Mandatory experience in pharmaceutical/food/chemicals sector
- Strong analytical skills to identify savings opportunities
- Comprehensive understanding of purchasing processes and knowledge of best practices for sourcing, supplier management and procure-to-pay
- Decision making ability to purchase goods or services in alignment with Sites objectives
