REPLENISHMENT ANALYST

DESCRIPTION
Our Client, a growing food and beverage retailer, is searching for a Replenishment/Planning Analyst to join their supply chain team. The Replenishment/Planning Analyst works within the Supply Chain department and reports to Replenishment Manager. The position is responsible for the planning, purchasing and analysis of the private label and inventory. The person will work closely with different suppliers, Distribution Center, store managers, transportation, 3PL, and cross functional teams to accomplish team goals. The Analyst is also responsible for creating accurate SKU forecasts, developing the inventory and replenishment strategy, managing parameters for each category to execute the replenishment strategy, achieving target in-stock levels and planned inventory turns, and developing recommendations to improve inventory productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of supply planning for our private label business and third party products
- Calculate and maintain the Sales Forecast per SKU within their assigned category/supplier
- Create and share the Purchase Plan collaboratively with our Commercial team and suppliers
- Be on top of things regarding the inbound of products at the DC: PO, follow ups, fill rate, Quality opportunities, validate cost and invoices, deliveries appointments
- Inventory Management at Distribution Center: supervise via system the ins/outs of the inventory at DC
- Maintain, create and foster great relationship with each assigned supplier: share forecasts, demonstrate collaborative approach to solve issues and strategically design joint action plans to avoid out of stocks
- Support the store's inventory management and MRP/DRP process
- Communicate regularly with store managers: support, new product launches, review orders to DC
- Develop and maintain reports and KPIs: out of stock, on time/in full, forecast accuracy, days on hand, and inventory turn
- Work with Product Development, Distribution Center, Stores, Finance to identify areas of opportunity to improve total supply chain metrics
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service
Qualifications
- Bachelors or equivalency in supply chain, business administration or business management
- 4+ years of supply chain, replenishment, demand planning and inventory management experience
- Experience working within the food & beverage industry preferred
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, influence decisions, and recommend a course of action based on data analytics
- Ability to drive process improvement by implementing checks and balances and identifying process steps that can be automated
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
