Key Responsibilities
ยท Build & maintain strong relationships with suppliers in order to facilitate the sourcing process
ยท Negotiate, analyse, review & critique supplier contracts for the greater good of the organisation
ยท Strong understanding of the entire indirect strategic sourcing process, developing a subject matter expertise in all sourcing related activities
ยท Road-map management and delivery of indirect or direct sourcing strategy & performance
ยท Maintain knowledge of market trends including, market drivers, cost structures, technical improvements, innovation, and competitive landscape
ยท Ambitious with excellent communication & negotiation skills, very hands on, strong business acumen, organisational skills, commercial sense, with the ability to be proactive.
Qualification/Experience
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing supplier's service
- Team Leadership experience
Pro-active, accountable, self-motivated, results focused, hands-on,
Self-starter and ability to make and execute decisions
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) in English and Japanese
