We have a current opportunity for a Quality Manager on a permanent basis. This company provides metal forming solutions to the Commercial, Recreational Vehicle and Industrial markets by executing lean principles and leveraging their global footprint. By focusing on the health and safety of their employees, while partnering with customers and giving back to the communities, they protect their natural resources and environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing daily QA activities
- Collecting & reporting information related to QA department functions
- Reviewing quality processes for improvement
- Maintaining calibration program throughout the plant
- ISO-9000 development/leading the audit process
- Maintaining continuity of quality related programs
- Assisting in the processing of Return Material Authorizations and Supplier Material Rejections
- Scheduling customer inspection audits
- Training personnel on quality processes
- Performing other duties as assigned
Ideal qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering or Quality discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with Lean concepts (Kaizen methodology a plus)
- Project management experience
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and train employees
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS windows and office applications
- Strong leadership skills
