One of the nation's top-quality Consumer Goods company is looking for a Quality Manager to lead their team.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the overall plant Quality Management System. This candidate will directly manage local personnel and processes in the Quality Control Lab, Production Quality, Quality Assurance and Distribution Center areas.
The Quality Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Support both local and corporate continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead the site team in identification and execution of development of goal- based measurable plant metrics
- Will be supporting daily operations
- Conduct internal Audits
- Implement and lead new programs
- Lead and develop indivudials on team
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's degree from college/university
- Green Belt; Black Belt preferred
- 6+ years' experience in quality management in a consumer product manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma programs
- Knowledge of Quality management systems
