Our client is a leading international courier, package delivery and express mail service and they are looking for an experienced Purchasing Optimization Manager to join their team in Utrecht, Netherlands!
Duties and tasks
- Developing programmes to increase awareness and convey the service benefits at Divisional or Site level
- Increasing the opportunities for Purchasing Centre to conduct competitive bidding processes
- Support to reduce the number of bid waivers
- Increasing automation rates as per procurement definition
- Support catalogue creation and related contracts
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant experience in commercial functions or project management
- 3 years working experience with purchasing practices and procedures
- e-purchasing experience
- Degree educated
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Dutch and English (French is an option)
- To be able to travel within the Benelux
- Deliver onsite presentations and support to negotiations
