I am currently working with a commodity company who are a world leader in human and animal nutrition and a leader in the supply and processing of agricultural products. They are searching for a Production Planner to be responsible for managing the production flow from production plants and 3rd party supplier into our warehouses.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales on forecasting
- Determining production, shipping and/or rework quantities
- Entering, following up and coordinating purchase orders
- Defining the safety stock settings and manufacturing strategies
- Inventory Management including reducing slow moving and obsolete stock
- Master data support and managing the planning parameters in our planning tools
- Process and costs improvement
- Monthly reporting of figures on inventory, service and costs
- Support further improvements and implementations of planning systems and other tools
Requirements:
- A degree (Bachelor or Master), in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a planning and/or supply chain related field
- Knowledge of export/import documentation
- Experience in Food/Agri-business industry preferred but not mandatory
- Broad experience of SAP/JDE or other ERP systems
- Flexible and stress-resistant
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple, competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills
- Focused on performance and results
- Fluent English and Dutch languages
