Job Title: Production Engineer
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
SUMMARY:
The Production Engineer provides hands-on process technology support for plant operations and packaging. Responsibilities include optimizing system performance, creating engineering and validation documents, and leading improvement projects. The role involves analyzing processes, managing environmental compliance, and supporting operational start-ups and training.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead continuous process improvement and address production issues.
- Analyze efficiency metrics like energy use, material losses, and equipment effectiveness.
- Develop and manage capital and MOC projects, including risk assessment and ROI evaluation.
- Oversee environmental, health, safety, and quality compliance, including audits and corrective actions.
- Provide training and technical support to production teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Experience: At least 3 years in chemical manufacturing with process improvement expertise.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and experience with ASPEN or data historians.
SKILLS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
WORK CONDITIONS:
