Job Summary:
As the Procurement Manager - Digital & IT, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the procurement activities related to digital technologies, software, hardware, and IT services for our esteemed client. Your expertise and strategic approach will be instrumental in ensuring the availability of high-quality products and services while optimizing costs and driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for digital technologies, software, hardware, and IT services that align with our client's objectives, budget, and quality requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong working relationships to secure the best products and services for our client.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to understand their requirements and provide procurement support and guidance throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Conduct market research and stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the digital and IT procurement space to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.
- Monitor and analyze vendor performance, including service level agreements (SLAs), delivery timelines, and product quality, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Implement procurement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance policies to ensure transparency, fairness, and efficiency in procurement processes.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to digital and IT procurement activities.
- Stay updated with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and compliance standards, ensuring procurement activities adhere to them.
