Job Title: Logistic Manager
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Key Responsibilities:
- Last Mile Logistics: Develop and implement last mile delivery operations, by ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods from the central warehouse to stores across Europe.
- Multinational Store Collaboration: Collaborate with store managers and teams to understand their specific last-mile delivery requirements and optimize delivery schedules accordingly.
- Online Sales Fulfilment: Oversee the last mile logistics for online sales, ensuring an efficient process for delivering consumer electronics to customers.
- Logistics Optimisation: Implement strategies to optimise last mile delivery routes, reduce delivery times, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.
- Omni-Channel Integration: Work on integrating last mile delivery processes with the omni-channel strategy, ensuring a consistent experience across all channels.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain teams to align last mile delivery plans with overall supply chain strategies and inventory management.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance last mile delivery processes, reduce costs, and improve overall logistics performance.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with logistics specialists, site managers, and distribution teams to ensure effective coordination and execution of last mile delivery strategies.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Dutch is required.
- Proven experience in logistics within a consumer-focused company, such as retail, manufacturing, or FMCG.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Previous experience with omni-channel logistics is a plus.
