Marketing Technical Support / Field Application Development
- Implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Technical Service and Application Development activities
- Work with Regional Management to ensure Application Development resources are continuously optimised to keep/improve competitive edge
- Develop commercial and technical contacts within the polymers and rubber industry and with co-suppliers
Product and Process Knowledge
- Take ownership of application development for major portfolio including determining overall prices/premium, volumes, budget, and resources
- Use product benchmarks to develop and manage full application development product portfolio
- Represent the company as a senior member of the organisation in external events, e.g. delivery of key note speeches in external conference.
Technical Product Troubleshooting
- Supervise technical services facilitating and tracking of project status
- Identify problems and issues
- Provide resources for agreed development projects to ensure that they achieve the result
- Take ownership of application development for major portfolio including determining overall prices/premium, volumes, budget, and resources
- Develop commercial and technical contacts within the polymers and rubber industry and with co-suppliers
Requirements:
- Degree in chemical or application specific knowledge
- >10 years experience in Chemical/Polymer or application related industry
- >5 years of Senior Product Owner/Senior Application Development Engineer experience
- Strong knowledge of products, manufacturing, application technology and application specific value chain
- Thorough Commercial understanding and interest in the business value
