Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 80 - 150 employees and ensure efficient and safe operations of shipping activities.
- Provide cross-functional leadership from the front lines and optimize productivity, encourage innovative ideas.
- Drive and continuously improve the day-to-day operations in a fast-growth environment, analyzing shift performance to identify operational opportunities, and potential cost-saving improvements to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of customer orders
- Manage daily staff schedule in accordance with budget and/or business needs by utilizing the staffing model designed by the department.
- Identify, interview, and train talent for the department including but not limited to coaching, training, scheduling, disciplinary functions, and execute matrixes and standards of continued excellence.
- Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP's, HACCP, Safety Compliance, and FD's policies.
- Support and participate in various company projects, initiatives, and programs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate strategically with high-level thinking yet is well versed in the daily operation of a warehouse.
- Experiencing managing KPIs and using data to identify and address deficiencies.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant, fast-paced work environment, comprehensive background in pick/pack, shipping, receiving
- 5+ years of e-Commerce experience
- Communication skills - must have good listening skills in addition to excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Support and participate in various company projects, initiatives, and programs as needed.
- Capacity to follow detailed processes and procedures while offering creative improvements to those processes.
