Facilities and Maintenance Manager summary:
A global manufacturer of composites, thermoplastics, within the semiconductor, aerospace/defense, industrial, life sciences, and chemicals industry is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance manager in their PA facility. The Facilities and Maintenance responsibilities include the directing, planning, and managing the facilities and maintenance services at the site. In this position, you will lead the planning, development, and execution of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement initiatives in areas of productivity, safety, and quality.
The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage/oversee the TPM of facilities and equipment to increase machine utilization
- Establish, maintain department performance metrics and tools to ensure efficient execution of the maintenance support function. Identify and communicate trends, areas requiring investigation, and other indicators
- Collaborate with Six Sigma and LEAN leaders to analyze, measure, and continuously improve processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Proven execution of strong leadership management
- Generate and standardize operating procedures, policies, and maintenance programs across value streams
- Working knowledge with performance analysis, reliability, predictive maintenance, strategy, future state planning, change management, training plans, performance management
The Facilities & Maintenance Manager will have the following skill set
- 5+ years of experience with control systems and process equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS/EAM
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, biomedical, chemicals
- Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green / Black Belt preferred
- Proven ability to work in performance analysis, reliability, predictive maintenance, strategy, future state planning, change management, training plans, performance management
- Experience working in coatings, ceilings, molds a plus
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
- Working knowledge of SPC software, analysis
- Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Green / Black Belt preferred
- SAP, or similar ERP experience a plus
