Responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation and handling of hazardous materials. The Environmental Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate projects such as site assessments, remediation, and due diligence while providing quality control and assurance. Environmental Manager Qualifications
- Prior experience with Environmental Field Service Operations
- Strong environmental remediation experience
- Proven knowledge of remedial technologies
- Prior experience working Emergency Response
- 3+ years of environmental field service operations experience
- Emergency response supervisor training a plus
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulation
Environmental Manager Responsibilities
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal at each project site
- Manages and oversees projects involving waste site clean-up and construction
- Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection
- Enforce the procedures related to Health & Safety
- Work closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues
