Responsibilities:
- Lead a global team of procurement professionals
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that support the company's business goals
- Manage the procurement process for raw materials
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts and ensure that suppliers meet the company's standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement operations
- Manage risk and compliance within the procurement function
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and risks for the company
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Several years of experience in procurement, with a track record of success in leading procurement functions
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, processes, and transformational approaches
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, optimize processes, and implement innovative procurement strategies
- Business fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in German language is a plus
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
