Controls Engineer Desired Experience:
- 1+ years of experience with control engineering or electrical engineering
- Programming in a manufacturing environment
- Controls Design
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
- Ability to learn/motivation to learn in a fast paced environment
Day to Day of Controls Engineer:
- Use controls engineering skills to maximise the productivity and efficiency of the plant
- Direct capital and expense project activities for various controls engineering projects
- Act as a hands on controls engineer
- Understand controls systems, specifications, wiring, and installation. Programming not a requirement, but a plus.
- Liaise between process engineers, vendors and contractors for quotation, scheduling, design and installation of equipment for various controls engineering projects.
