Commercial and Performance Manager

A massive, global leader in chemical manufacturing is searching for an outstanding Commercial and Performance Manager to join the vendor management team. This individual will be managing strategic relationships between the IT organization, their vendors, ad monitor adherence to established service levels.
The Category Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide holistic insights into IT vendor performance and spend to establish and implement a streamlined vendor management framework
- Own and maintain vendor segmentation, scorecards, dashboards, and all contractual vendor governance
- Monitor vendor risk, ensuring third-party products, IT vendors and service providers do not result in disruptions
- Review IT contracts across the enterprise and participate in evaluations
- Maintain contracts with the most strategic IT vendors and their Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with emphasis on cost effectiveness
- Participate in vendor selection and assist in setting selection criteria
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, or related field
- 3 years of Performance and Commercial experience
- 5 years of vendor management or service delivery management
- Experience with IT vendor service level agreements and managing them
- Knowledge of procurement and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication skills
