Category Sourcing Manager
Introduction
DSJ Global is currently looking for a Category Sourcing Manager to join our client in Gainesville, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various food ingredients, resolving supply issues, conducting RFQs and negotiations, and staying updated on market trends. The role also involves developing cost analysis tools, tracking costs, and maintaining supplier relationships.
The Category Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing the procurement of various food ingredients.
- Resolving supply issues and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Conducting RFQs, RFPs and RFIs and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Staying updated on market trends and identifying new suppliers.
- Developing cost analysis tools and tracking costs.
- Maintaining supplier relationships.
Category Sourcing Manager Required Skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of commodities.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Knowledge of running RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Grit.
