After a peak in growth, my client is seeking a Category Manager for Onshore/Offshore Wind to play a pivotal role in our mission to make clean energy accessible to all. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for driving the procurement and management of onshore and offshore wind energy assets, ensuring our projects align with our commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan for onshore/offshore wind projects, considering location, equipment, suppliers, and project time lines.
Vendor Management: Identify and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors involved in wind projects, ensuring competitive pricing and quality services.
Cost Management: Monitor and control project budgets, optimising cost efficiency.

Requirements:
1. 3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy space or similar
2. Experiences in onshore/offshore wind
3. Experience managing EPC contracts, framework agreements, and tender agreements
4. C1 Level German proficiency is a must
5. This role has to be based in Hamburg, twice a week
